Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid-Senior Test Engineer to support a high-impact, multi-agency program serving USSF/SSC, USAF, and other mission stakeholders. The role focuses on testing and deploying a large-scale SATCOM system within an existing infrastructure.

The ideal candidate brings PKI expertise, strong Agile/Scrum experience, and proven ability to define test plans, execute formal tests, and drive regression testing in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 8+ years of related experience.
• Experience in full SDLC testing and formal test processes.
• Experience developing and executing formal system tests.
• Experience authoring detailed test procedures.
• Experience in formal test events (Acceptance Test, UAT, Software Final Release Test, Maintenance Release Test).
• Collaborating with software developers to refine test procedures.
• Ability to document test results for corrective actions and audits.
• Hands-on regression testing for software-based systems.
• Experience with test data analysis, CM tools, and validating software.
• Experience in Agile Scrum environments.
• Experience with testing physical equipment in a lab.
• Experience presenting test results.
• Experience using elevated privileges to run manual tests.
• Experience testing against specifications.
• Strong communication with management and technical staff.
• Clearance TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Define test priorities with stakeholders and plan integrated test events.
• Assess tasking and resources for test environments and test procedures.
• Track cross-team dependencies for program release testing.
• Interface among software, systems, and IA engineers in Agile Scrum.
• Apply BDD within the Agile framework to ensure quality.
• Plan, execute, and oversee regression testing across builds.
• Coordinate with customer points of contact for milestones and tests.
• Develop, maintain, deliver test plans, descriptions, and reports.
• Collaborate with Automated Test Development and monitor CI for results.
