Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Bridgeport, WV, is seeking a disassembly technician to work in the PW800 line on the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu 3:30pm-1:30am). You will disassemble engine components, follow technical instructions, and use hand tools and precision gauges to support overhaul activities.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of mechanical experience. Onsite work with a safety‑sensitive environment under FAA regulations, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for training

Qualifications

High school education or GED equivalent.
2+ years of relevant work experience in a mechanical field.

Responsibilities

Disassemble various engine components, sub-assemblies, and engines in the repair and overhaul area.
Use various hand tools, precision measuring equipment, special tooling and gauges.
Coordinate parts, consumables and non-product material movements.
Work from Manuals, Service Bulletins and other technical instructions.
Function as an Assembler in Department 1800 to ensure standard work and best practices are accomplished while assuring daily targets are met.
Support ACE, Quality, EH&S, and Operations initiatives and policies.
Comply with RTX Code of Ethics and report any violations.
