Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Bridgeport, WV is seeking an Assembly Technician for PW300 and PW500 engine lines. This onsite role focuses on sub-assembly, balancing, main assembly and packing within the repair/overhaul area, with 2nd shift from 3:30pm to 1:30am after training on another shift.

Candidates should have a High school diploma or GED and a current Powerplant license. Aviation maintenance experience and prior PW engine work are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active Powerplant license at time of hire.
• Preferred: aviation maintenance experience and P&W engine familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Work from manuals, service bulletins and other technical instructions.
• Use hand tools, precision measuring equipment, special tooling and gauges.
• Coordinate parts, consumables and non-product material movements.
• Function as an Assembly tech to ensure standard work and standard methodologies, meeting daily targets.
• Support Continuous Improvement, Quality, EH&S and Operations initiatives.
• Perform related duties as assigned and refer team challenges to Supervisor.
