Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Bridgeport, WV, seeks an Assembly Technician to support PW300 & PW500 engine assembly. You will follow manuals and service bulletins, assemble sub-assemblies, balance and pack engines, and ensure EH&S and quality standards throughout the process.

You will work the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3:30pm-1:30am) with potential training on another shift for up to six months. A high school diploma or GED and a Powerplant license are required; PW engine experience is preferred and onsite

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with aviation maintenance background.
• Active Powerplant license at hire; PW engine experience preferred.
• Experience reading drawings and using precision tools and gauges.

Responsibilities

• Work from manuals, service bulletins and technical instructions.
• Use hand tools, precision measuring equipment, gauges and special tooling.
• Coordinate parts, consumables and non-product material movements.
• Ensure standard work and meet daily targets with quality focus.
• Support Continuous Improvement, EH&S and operations initiatives.
• Perform other duties and escalate challenges to Supervisor.
