RTX's Pratt & Whitney team in Bridgeport, WV seeks a skilled machinist for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu 3:30pm–1:30am). You will clean, de-burr, blend, and polish engine components, set up drill presses/lathe, and follow blueprints for accurate fits.

This FAA-regulated role requires safety and quality diligence. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years in aviation or manufacturing trades, with experience reading drawings and using hand tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years in aftermarket aviation, machining, automotive, or manufacturing trades.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with hand tools and basic measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and rework on gas turbine engine sub-assemblies and parts.
• Read from drawings and manuals to check fits and tolerances.
• Operate fixed gauges, riveting machines, lathe, drill press, and grinder.
• Maintain clean work area and follow safety and environment rules.
