Job summary

Eastern Industrial Supplies, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to review customer accounts, identify new PVF opportunities, and drive proactive outreach through inside sales calls and order writing.

You will collaborate with the team to deliver tailored solutions, address inquiries, and manage CRM-driven sales activities while upholding integrity and safety across the business.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of Bachelor's degree and experience.
• Ability to work on PCs using Word and Excel
• Knowledge or willingness to develop knowledge of Eclipse software
• Problem-solving and adaptability

Responsibilities

• Generates new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner.
• Enters sales quotations and orders for new and existing customers.
• Follows up on quotations to improve Eastern's competitive market position.
• Provides friendly customer service quickly and efficiently; assists customers with product selection.
• Presents price, credit and terms in accordance with procedures and profitability profiles.
• Proactively recommends items to increase satisfaction and profitability; cross-sell and up-sell.
• Educates customers about terminology, features and benefits; coordinates activities across sales, service, accounting and shipping.
• Maintains accurate documentation on all orders and quotes; monitors shipment dates and expedites as needed.
• Contacts customers after sales to ensure satisfaction and update files.
• Identifies trends in customer satisfaction and communicates demand changes.
