Job summary

Eastern Industrial Supplies, a family-owned and operated company, seeks an Inside Sales Representative in Greensboro, NC to strengthen customer and vendor relationships in the PVF market. This role combines counter sales support with order processing to ensure timely deliveries and accurate quotes.

You will educate yourself on product lines, stay current with active marketing programs, and contribute to a fast-paced wholesale distribution team.

Qualifications

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in writing orders or providing quotes for customers.
• Solar Eclipse ERP system experience would be a plus.
• Experience in Industrial Distribution - PVF (Pipe, Valves, Fittings) and commercial plumbing products.

Industrial Sales for the PVF (Pipe, Valves, and Fittings) industry

About the role

As an Inside Sales Representative, you play an essential role in maintaining stellar customer and vendor relationships to help our business thrive. You will also work in Counter Sales where you can increase sales and customer satisfaction by efficiently and courteously assisting walk-in and telephone customers in the selection and acquisition of needed products. By applying technical knowledge to you will satisfy customer needs.

In addition, you maintain relationships with vendors and manufacturer representatives to streamline order processing. To keep track of order statuses and customer requirements, you consistently review our queue and ensure information is kept accurate. You handle expedited orders to make sure they are fulfilled promptly and delivery dates are processed. Anytime a product or material is returned, you take care of the required paperwork in a timely manner and issue credits to customers in accordance with our policies.

You take great care to educate yourself on all company products to help customers make well-informed decisions. You stay informed on active marketing programs to provide accurate responses to customer inquiries. The job can often be fast-paced, but you are always up for the challenge. You enjoy having a job that uses your strong customer service and business skills to help others, which is why you excel in this position in wholesale distribution selling PVF and other industrial supplies!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE
