Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Assistant Commissioning Manager to lead testing and commissioning of HV, BESS, and PV projects across the U.S. The role requires on-site presence at job sites with hybrid work options and frequent coordination with engineering, construction, and QA teams.

You will manage commissioning plans, schedules, safety programs, and daily reports while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements. Travel to sites is expected as projects advance.

Qualifications

• Experience with commissioning utility-scale solar, storage, and HV substations.
• Understanding of HV/MV switching operations and safety programs (LOTO).
• Familiarity with NFPA/NEC and IEEE/IES standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project commissioning team and provide guidance for testing activities.
• Report daily to the Commissioning Manager and track project status.
• Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and milestone deliverables with stakeholders.
