Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Commissioning Manager to oversee testing and commissioning for HV, BESS, and PV projects.

You will coordinate with the Commissioning Manager and SMEs to ensure installations, testing, and commissioning meet project requirements, safety standards, and industry best practices. This hybrid role requires on-site presence at job sites with some remote work; travel is expected as projects demand.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in testing and commissioning on utility-scale electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, inverters, transformers, and electrical infrastructure.
• Experience managing project teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project commissioning team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective execution of tasks.
• Report daily to the Commissioning Manager, the status of each project assigned.
• Review technical, contractual, and regulatory requirements related to commissioning and assist with development of a project milestone and commissioning plan.
• Coordinate with OEM suppliers regarding equipment testing and commissioning activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, and QA teams to align all commissioning activities.
