Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Commissioning Manager to oversee testing and commissioning of HV, BESS, and PV systems on utility-scale projects nationwide.

You will lead the project commissioning team, coordinate with engineering, construction, and QA, and report progress to the Commissioning Manager to ensure safety, quality, and on-schedule delivery. In this hybrid role, you’ll work onsite at job sites with some remote work, develop commissioning plans, review energization

Qualifications

• 3 years of testing and commissioning on utility-scale electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, inverters, transformers.
• Ability to manage project teams and coordinate stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project commissioning team with guidance and training.
• Report daily on project status to Commissioning Manager.
• Develop commissioning plans and procedures per project.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, QA for alignment.
• Prepare and maintain daily commissioning reports and lessons learned.
