Job summary

SOLV Energy, a leading provider of infrastructure services in the power sector, seeks an Assistant Commissioning Manager to lead testing and commissioning for HV, BESS, and PV projects across the U.S. The role blends on-site presence with hybrid work, supporting commissioning teams and coordinating with engineering, construction, and QA teams.

You will develop schedules, coordinate with OEMs, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and drive commissioning from pre-commissioning through project

Qualifications

• 3+ years in testing and commissioning on utility-scale electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, inverters, transformers.
• Experience managing project teams and coordinating stakeholders.
• Proactive problem solving and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project commissioning team and provide guidance and training.
• Report daily to the Commissioning Manager on status of each project.
• Develop commissioning plans and procedures in line with requirements.
• Coordinate with OEM suppliers on equipment testing and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Prepare and maintain daily commissioning reports and lessons learned.
