Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Commissioning Manager to oversee testing and commissioning activities for HV, BESS, and PV projects nationwide.

You will coordinate with commissioning teams, engineering, construction, and QA to ensure safe, compliant, and fully operable renewable energy assets. The role is hybrid with on-site presence at job sites and partial remote work; travel to projects is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in testing and commissioning on utility scale electrical systems.
• Knowledge of electrical power systems, inverters, transformers, and electrical infrastructure.
• Experience managing project teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead project commissioning team; provide guidance and training.
• Report daily on project status to the Commissioning Manager.
• Develop and review commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.
• Coordinate with OEM suppliers on testing and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, NFPA/NEC, and environmental standards.
• Maintain and improve commissioning processes and documentation.
