Priority Title & Escrow, LLC is seeking a Purchase Processing Team Lead to oversee a team of escrow officers and assistants, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant escrow services for purchase transactions. The role includes training, mentorship, and workload management to maintain exceptional client service.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years in title and escrow, strong mortgage documentation knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office and escrow software such as SoftPro.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the purchase processing team for accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor pipeline volumes and balance workloads across the team.
• Serve as escalation point for complex transactions and compliance issues.
• Train, mentor, and coach team members on procedures and policies.
• Ensure adherence to policies, regulations, and guidelines.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve title issues and coordinate closings.
• Review and approve closing documents and disbursements as needed.
• Track and report team performance metrics to leadership.

Role Description:

The Purchase Processing Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and supporting a team of escrow officers and/or assistants handling purchase transactions. This role ensures the team delivers accurate, timely, and compliant escrow services while maintaining exceptional client service standards. The Team Lead will provide training, mentorship, and workflow management, and act as a subject matter expert on escrow purchase transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the purchase processing team, ensuring quality and efficiency in all transactions.
• Monitor pipeline volumes and allocate workloads to balance capacity across the team.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex or high-risk transactions.
• Train, mentor, and coach team members on best practices, procedures, and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, state regulations, and industry guidelines.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve title issues and coordinate closing timelines.
• Review and approve closing documents and disbursements as needed.
• Track and report team performance metrics to leadership.
• Support a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and customer service.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Education & Experience:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in title and escrow, specifically in purchase transactions.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of mortgage loan documentation.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Proficiency with escrow and title software systems (e.g., SoftPro).
• Core Competencies:
• Proven leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of title insurance, escrow procedures, and state regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Schedule:

• Core business hours are 8:30am-5:30pm
• Monday through Friday
• 40 hours per week

Work Location:

• This is an in-office position at our Virginia Beach, VA location.
