Job summary

Priority Title & Escrow in Virginia Beach is seeking a Purchase Processing Team Lead to supervise escrow officers and assistants, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant services while maintaining exceptional client service.

You will train and mentor staff, manage workloads, resolve title issues, and coordinate closings, with strong knowledge of mortgage docs, SoftPro, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in title and escrow, specifically in purchase transactions.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage loan documentation.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Proficiency with escrow and title software systems (e.g., SoftPro).
• Proven leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of title insurance, escrow procedures, and state regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the purchase processing team, ensuring quality and efficiency in all transactions.
• Monitor pipeline volumes and allocate workloads to balance capacity across the team.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex or high-risk transactions.
• Train, mentor, and coach team members on best practices, procedures, and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, state regulations, and industry guidelines.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve title issues and coordinate closing timelines.
• Review and approve closing documents and disbursements as needed.
• Track and report team performance metrics to leadership.
• Support a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and customer service.
