Job summary

Grundfos in Brookshire, TX, is seeking a CSSC Application Engineer to provide expert technical support and tailored pumping solutions while mentoring the Back Office team.

You will work across phone, email, live chat, and tenders, collaborating with sales and engineering to ensure optimal system performance and strong customer relationships, delivering practical, value‑added outcomes. This hybrid role emphasizes problem solving, clear communication, and a commitment to customer success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Fundamental knowledge of pumps and pumping systems, including control panels, motors, motor protection systems, variable speed drives, and accessories.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP CRM/SD) and MS Office (Excel, Word, Teams).
• Hybrid work schedule based out of the Brookshire, TX facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide second‑level technical support including detailed product sizing, application engineering, system integration, and accessory selection across phone, email, live chat, and messaging channels.
• Support sales teams by managing technical aspects of tenders and mid‑scale projects, delivering accurate specifications, dimensions, and engineering calculations.
• Develop tailored solutions by collaborating with internal teams to ensure optimal performance and practical implementation in diverse customer environments.
• Handle complex and escalated inquiries and quotations, including HX and accessories, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Identify business opportunities and hand over leads to external sales while implementing value‑added services to enhance customer relationships.
• Provide technical guidance and support to CSSC Back Office team members to elevate overall team capability.
