Job summary

Clearwater Paper seeks a Paper Machine Superintendent to lead manufacturing operations at our Lewiston, Idaho facility. You will ensure safety, environmental compliance, quality, and continuous improvement while aligning with business objectives.

Responsibilities include setting priorities, guiding cross-functional teams, managing budgets, mentoring leaders, and driving productivity and reliability across the production line.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of operations leadership experience in pulp and paper manufacturing.
• 4+ years of supervisory experience including performance management and coaching.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, machinery and industry operations.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing operations to ensure safety, environmental compliance, and efficient production.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to build a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Drive performance through resource management, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Develop and manage operating budgets and support capital improvements.
• Mentor and develop future leaders across the organization.
• Coordinate production priorities and ensure raw material availability.
• Collaborate with Quality and Technical teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Communicate changes to employees and sustain results.
