Job summary

The Paper Machine Superintendent leads manufacturing operations to ensure safe, environmentally compliant, and efficient production. You will be accountable for operational performance, workforce leadership, product quality, continuous improvement, and achievement of business objectives.

Responsibilities include safety, process optimization, budget oversight, equipment reliability, and cost control, with mentorship of site leaders and cross-functional collaboration to achieve strategic goals in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in operations management
• 7+ years of operations leadership in manufacturing
• 4+ years supervisory experience including performance management
• Knowledge of pulp and paper manufacturing processes
• Advanced computer skills including Excel

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and environmental programs to ensure regulatory compliance
• Set production priorities and coordinate multi-department activities
• Manage budgets and capital projects to improve productivity
• Drive continuous improvement and waste reduction across the plant
• Develop future leaders through mentoring and coaching
