Ecolab in Charlotte, NC is offering a Paper & Pulp Engineering Technical Sales Intern program. You will work with experienced Field Sales Representatives to learn account management and how engineering expertise supports customer needs and business growth in the Paper & Pulp sector.

The 11‑week paid internship starts June 1st, with relocation assistance and a hybrid work model. A potential full‑time opportunity exists after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, Industrial or related) graduating in December 2027 or Summer 2028.
• Immigration sponsorship not available for this role.
• 11‑week paid internship program, starting on Tuesday, June 1st.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Field Sales Representatives to learn account management and customer service.
• Learn how technical engineering methods solve customer problems and drive business in Paper & Pulp.
• Attend safety training and technical lessons related to water treatment applications.
• Observe and participate in service to ensure accurate chemical application and process optimization.
• Learn the consultative sales approach and build relationships with customers.
• Travel to multiple customer sites across the region (40‑60% field time) to learn best practices.
