Job summary

Ecolab is offering a 11-week paid internship for Paper & Pulp Engineering Technical Sales interns. Relocation assistance may be available and a hybrid work environment is offered, balancing field days with remote work.

You will learn account management, customer service, and how to apply technical knowledge to solve customer problems and develop business. Ideal candidates are pursuing an undergraduate degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, Industrial) with graduation planned

Qualifications

Pursuing undergraduate degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, Industrial or related).
11-week paid internship program, starting June 1.
Position requires a valid US Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

Complete an independent project(s) under primary trainer’s direction to yield ROI.
Complete safety training & technical lessons on water treatment applications.
Observe and participate in service at customer sites to assure proper chemical application and documentation.
Complete introductory training of the consultative sales approach.
Visit multiple customer sites regionally (40–60% in field) to learn applications and treatment approaches.
Build relationships with departments and personnel critical to field success.
Support Sales Reps with routine service; may involve testing boilers, cooling towers, and paper process streams.
