Job summary

ECOLAB is seeking a Paper & Pulp Engineering Technical Sales Intern in Beaumont, TX to partner with Field Sales Representatives and learn account management, customer service, and how technical expertise solves customer problems within the Paper & Pulp industry.

You will combine engineering with a consultative sales approach, build long-term customer relationships, and learn to deliver digital solutions while supporting sustainability goals. 11-week paid internship with relocation options.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergrad Engineering degree (Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, Industrial or related) graduating 2027–2028.
• Must have a valid US driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Immigration sponsorship not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Complete independent projects under the trainer's direction to yield ROI.
• Attend safety trainings and technical lessons for water treatment applications.
• Observe and participate in customer service to ensure proper chemical application and documentation.
• Learn the consultative sales approach and build field knowledge.
• Travel to customer sites region-wide (40–60% in the field) to learn best practices.
• Build relationships with departments critical to field success.
• Gain sales experience while helping customers meet sustainability goals.
• Provide routine service support to Sales Representatives and participate in testing as needed.
