Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Practice Assistant II for The Brigham and Women\'s Hospital, on Francis Street in Boston. This onsite role supports a fast-paced, patient-centered clinic in the Pulmonary Function Lab, with standard hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Responsibilities include scheduling, check-in/out, greeting patients, handling calls, and processing billing forms. Requires a High School Diploma and 2–3 years of office experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Office experience 2–3 years required.
• Proficiency with all Office Suite and related administrative tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage time and multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine administrative duties to support clinical service.
• Greet patients and assist with check-in/check-out.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and handle routine inquiries.
• File materials, print schedules, and process billing forms.
• Request medical records and lab results as needed.
• Open and distribute mail/faxes; support registration and billing systems.
• May provide training and support to colleagues.
