Job summary

TSRTSR is seeking a Publishing Operations Manager to join the client’s Global Publishing team on a 6‑month, on‑site engagement in New York, NY. The role focuses on managing author and talent contracts, invoices, payments, onboarding, and cross‑functional workflows.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in publishing or related operations, with strong organization, communication, and project management skills. On‑site schedule is Mon–Fri, 9:00–6:00.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in publishing, entertainment, media, talent management, or related operation roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day ops for author and talent engagements: contracts, onboarding, invoices, payments, documentation.
• Coordinate contracts from initiation to execution with Legal, Editorial, Finance and external reps.
• Develop and maintain processes for author/talent setup, payment, invoicing and financial workflows.
• Serve as central point of contact for operational questions across teams and partners.
• Maintain contracts, contacts, payment details, invoices and data records.
• Process, track and reconcile invoices with Finance to resolve discrepancies.
• Own trackers and reporting on contracts, payments, expenses, milestones and deadlines.
• Flag upcoming deadlines and obligations; monitor milestones.
• Collaborate with Editorial, Finance, Legal, Production, Marketing to keep workflows on track.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve systems.
