Job summary

Kforce Inc. is seeking a Publishing Operations Manager in NYC to oversee workflows, contracts, payments, and vendor management for publishing, content, and talent initiatives.

This role coordinates between internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate execution of projects and agreements. Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in publishing or related operations, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in publishing, media, entertainment, operations, project management, or related business environment.
• Strong organizational, project management, and workflow coordination skills.
• Experience managing contracts, invoices, payments, and administrative financial processes.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Workspace, and spreadsheet-based reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and follow-through capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contracts, onboarding, invoices, payments, and operational documentation.
• Coordinate agreements and related workflows from initiation through execution.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, Operations, and external stakeholders to facilitate timely completion of contracts and deliverables.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, contacts, invoices, payments, and supporting documentation.
• Monitor deadlines, milestones, deliverables, and payment obligations.
• Manage invoice intake, processing, tracking, reconciliation, and payment workflows.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for operational inquiries and issue resolution.
• Develop, maintain, and improve operational workflows and business processes.
• Prepare and maintain project trackers, reporting tools, and operational dashboards.
• Coordinate with vendors, partners, and internal departments to support day-to-day operations.
