Job summary

impact.com is seeking a Publisher Business Development Manager to own the commercial relationship across the publisher book, evangelizing Spot's monetization and partnership technology, shaping new supply opportunities end-to-end, and coaching publishers on implementation to maximize performance.

You’ll lead the commercial efforts with a dedicated support team, drive impressions and GTV growth, and partner with demand-side to align brands and campaigns with publishers.

Qualifications

• Publisher-side experience with publishers or networks selling ad tech to publishers.
• Ability to convert warm leads and manage deals through to live supply.
• Strong grounding in eCPM, CPA, yield, fill rate, ad requests and impressions.
• Proven commercial results and experience managing a book of business.
• Strong analytical ability to synthesize data for viewpoints and discussions.
• Excellent presentation skills with decks and forecasts for large publisher groups.
• Self-motivated, organized and able to thrive in a fast-moving, high-accountability environment.

Responsibilities

• Own Spot publisher adoption from warm leads to pitch, conviction, and launch across large and small publishers.
• Shape opportunities by mocking ad units, modeling yield and forecasts by page position and type.
• Speak technical language on ad tags, publisher tags, JSON responses and API integrations.
• Coach publishers on viewability, ad load, frequency, share of voice, placement and UX.
• Advise on ad-unit design and placement to maximize native yield.
• Collaborate with publisher development, product and engineering teams to push deals through implementation.
• Help expand Spot into additional English-speaking markets as the role grows.
