Job summary

gobravvo is seeking an experienced Public Works Project Manager in Las Vegas, NV to lead commercial construction projects for public works and agency clients. You will coordinate planning, scheduling, budgeting, and client communication from initiation through completion, ensuring projects meet design, schedule, and budget objectives.

This role emphasizes leadership, strong communication with owners and subcontractors, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards in a dynamic public works

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a Project Manager with a Commercial General Contractor
• Experience on public works or public agency construction projects
• Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and subcontractor coordination
• Strong communication and negotiation with owners, subcontractors, and public entities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Experience with Procore, Timberline, and P6 or similar tools
• Experience with school districts, universities or other public agencies is valued
• Experience in sectors: Office, Education, Retail, Federal/Municipal, Hospitality/Casino, Sports & Recreation, Parking Structures, or Tenant Improvement/Renovations

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management and client communication from initiation to completion
• Develop and maintain CPM project schedules to track progress and timelines
• Oversee project budgets (including self-performed work) and monitor financial performance
• Prepare and submit owner billings and manage change orders and schedule updates
• Negotiate with owners, public entities and clients and provide regular progress updates
• Develop subcontract agreements and coordinate subcontractor activities to meet milestones
• Implement QA procedures and ensure safety, quality and compliance
• Participate in preconstruction activities including procurement, business development, and estimating
