Job summary

GCW, Inc. seeks a Land Development Project Manager to lead on-site engineering and construction projects in Las Vegas, from proposal through final client acceptance.

You will plan, coordinate, and direct work, supervise staff, and ensure the project follows schedule, budget, and quality standards. Requires a Bachelor of Science in engineering, a minimum of four years in design or project management, and Nevada PE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering required.
• Minimum four years of experience in engineering design and/or project management.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Solid understanding of engineering principles and calculations.
• Ability to analyze problems with multiple variables.

Responsibilities

• Provides oversight of technical studies, submittals, plans, and general design for public works projects and private developments.
• Completes project initiation documents including scope, budget, and schedule.
• Coordinations with jurisdictional agencies on technical matters; ensure compliance with laws and standards.
• Ensures project costs stay within budget and changes are documented.
• Maintains up-to-date project status reporting and timely client communication.
• Supervises staff on project-specific tasks and performance evaluation.
• Identifies additional business opportunities with current clients or referrals.
• Reviews pre-bills and coordinates with clients on overdue payments.
