Job summary

Transdev North America, based in Phoenix, AZ, seeks an Operations Control Center General Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure safe, reliable transportation. You will lead the control center, guide staff, analyze data, and collaborate with the client to address service issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher is required.
• 5+ years managing an Operations Control Center or similar.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Working knowledge of FTA rules and regulations.
• Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving.
• MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access or similar.
• Experience analyzing historical data and developing reports.
• Ability to build effective client and team relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the operations control center.
• Develop staff for peak performance through training and coaching.
• Supervise Phoenix Operations Control Center Supervisors and team.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures.
• Maintain staffing levels for adequate telephone coverage.
• Review and revise staff performance requirements.
• Analyze operational data and advise senior leadership.
• Conduct performance evaluations for direct reports.
• Collaborate with client on projects and requests.
• Ensure daily metrics are met and staff are properly managed.
