Job summary

Confidential Jobs seeks a General Manager to lead paratransit operations, supervise drivers and SOP development, and ensure safety and client satisfaction in Phoenix, AZ. You will coordinate staffing, training, budgeting, and performance metrics while aligning with client and company policies.

You will interact with Pace leadership and local teams to optimize operations, build strong partnerships, and drive revenues across the CSC framework.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of recent experience managing paratransit operations or similar.
• Position involves leading operations, safety and training, scheduling and dispatching or call center, human resources/labor relations, vehicle maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit and develop staff; build strong relationships; manage budgets; interface with Pace directors and staff.
• Bachelor’s degree/MBA preferred; Class B license with Passenger and Air brakes endorsements; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of all drivers and oversee SOP development and implementation.
• Serve as the main client contact and participate in meetings and conference calls.
• Develop CSC operating plans and align with company strategies.
• Make staffing decisions and communicate them to drivers and client management.
• Recruit, train and develop CSC staff including drivers, dispatchers and safety personnel.
• Review budgets and drive actions to increase revenues and margins.
• Ensure safety compliance and conduct area inspections and investigations as needed.
• Maintain positive relationships to aid employee retention.
