Job summary
Transdev North America is seeking an Assistant General Manager – Transit based in Phoenix, AZ. You will support the General Manager in directing daily passenger transit operations, customer service, contract and facility management, and safety of personnel and riders.
The role oversees day-to-day operations, budget oversight, and strategic planning for the contract staff. Travel may be required outside the immediate area, and a Bachelor's degree plus 5–7 years of supervisory experience in
Qualifications
- Must have high school diploma or GED.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation or related field preferred.
- 5–7 years supervisory/management experience in passenger transportation.
Responsibilities
- Directs daily operations management.
- Provides strategic planning and direction to operations staff.
- Manages contract compliance.
- Harmonizes scheduling, performance evaluation, and staffing for the facility management staff.
- Other duties as required.
