Job summary

JOBGETHER in the United States seeks a System Implementation Specialist to support public-sector technology implementations. This full-time hybrid role translates business needs into configured solutions, workflows, and integrations across complex programs.

You’ll manage software configuration, data analysis, documentation, testing, and client collaboration, modernizing legacy systems while ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of relevant experience; master’s preferred.
• 5+ years in technology implementation, systems integration, software development, or related discipline.
• Understand service delivery systems for state programs under federal regulators.
• Strong MS Office data analytics skills (Access, SQL, SPSS).
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and hybrid SDLC methodologies.
• Modernization of legacy systems/mainframe via n-tier solutions preferred.
• Experience across Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, or hybrid lifecycles.
• Familiarity with PM/OCM/IEEE/SEI frameworks is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, configuration, and development of forms, templates, workflows, and system functionality.
• Produce clean, efficient code based on defined requirements.
• Integrate software components and third-party applications as part of broader system integration.
• Troubleshoot, debug, update, and upgrade existing software and components.
• Gather, evaluate, and document customer use cases, processes, and requirements.
• Create technical documentation for reference, implementation, and reporting.
• Apply low-code platforms and configuration methodologies where appropriate.
• Support testing, integration, deployment, and overall solution delivery.
• Maintain communication with stakeholders and help plan risks, issues, dependencies.
• Apply SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, or hybrid).
• Participate in system implementation initiatives involving modernization of legacy/mainframe tech.
• Collaborate with project teams to support testing, integration, deployment.
• Help keep projects aligned with timelines and budgets.
