Job summary

JOBGETHER in the United States seeks a System Implementation Specialist to support public-sector technology implementations. This full-time hybrid role translates business needs into configured solutions, workflows, and integrations across complex programs.

You’ll manage software configuration, data analysis, documentation, testing, and client collaboration, modernizing legacy systems while ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of relevant experience; master’s preferred.
• 5+ years in technology implementation, systems integration, software development, or related discipline.
• Understand service delivery systems for state programs under federal regulators.
• Strong MS Office data analytics skills (Access, SQL, SPSS).
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and hybrid SDLC methodologies.
• Modernization of legacy systems/mainframe via n-tier solutions preferred.
• Experience across Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, or hybrid lifecycles.
• Familiarity with PM/OCM/IEEE/SEI frameworks is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Produce clean, efficient code based on defined requirements.

Accountabilities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of relevant professional experience; a master’s degree in public administration, government-focused business administration, or a related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in technology implementation, systems integration, software development, or a related discipline.
• Ability to understand service delivery systems for programs administered by state agencies and monitored by federal regulators.
• Strong understanding of complex federal regulations and requirements relevant to public-sector programs.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly with data analytics tools such as Microsoft Access, SQL, and SPSS.
• Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to work accurately with large and complex datasets.
• Sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to seek guidance when appropriate.
• Ability to manage detailed work while keeping projects moving within defined timelines and budgets.
• Experience with COTS, SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS solutions is preferred.
• Experience across software development lifecycle phases using Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, and/or hybrid methodologies.
• Experience supporting modernization of legacy systems or mainframe technologies through n-tier solutions is preferred.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Visual Studio, Jenkins, JIRA, and GitHub is valuable.
• Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture, TCP, FTP, SSH, SQL, and Oracle is preferred.
• Familiarity with standards and frameworks such as PMBOK, CMMI, Prosci OCM, IEEE, and SEI is beneficial.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified DevOps Project Manager, Certified Scrum Master, SAFe, Certified Software Test Manager, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or ITIL are desirable.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Highly self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
• Strong work ethic and ability to support multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
• Demonstrated curiosity and commitment to continuous learning.
