Job summary

Public Consulting Group seeks a System Integration Business Analyst to drive modernized system integration projects in a hybrid environment with travel. You will gather requirements, write specs, and work with development and QA teams to ensure timely delivery across client engagements.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in cloud-based software, experience with COTS/SaaS, and strong MS Office proficiency. Public sector focus, collaboration, and cross-team communication are key.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with cloud-based software.
• Experience with COTS or SaaS solutions.
• Experience in SDLC using Agile, Waterfall and/or Hybrid Agile.
• Participation in modernization of legacy systems/mainframe.
• Proficient with MS Office suite including Project and Visio.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements via workshops and interviews.
• Write functional specifications for new/enhanced features.
• Collaborate with development to implement solutions.
• Communicate with sponsors and stakeholders for feedback.
• Serve as central contact for development/QA teams.
• Provide timely updates to project managers.
• Support integration of software components and third-party apps.
• Document client use cases and business processes.
• Contribute to schedules, test plans and conversion plans.
• Assist in planning discussions and risk management.
