Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Solutions Engineer for the SLED market in the MA/CT area. Hybrid work arrangement with ongoing collaboration across public sector customers including K-12, higher education and local government.

You will translate customer needs into technical architectures, partner with cross-functional teams, and drive demonstrations that showcase Cisco’s portfolio. Strong presentation skills and a track record of exceeding quotas are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing, field-sales engineering or network engineering role.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Cisco technologies including networking, security, collaboration, or cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Understand customers' business and technical needs to develop tailored technical strategies.
• Design and implement cutting-edge solutions across K12, Higher Education, and local government segments.
• Collaborate with partners, architecture teams, and CX to ensure adoption and optimization of Cisco solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and drive a robust pipeline through discovery, demos, and delivery of value.
