Job summary

OpenGov is hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive high-volume outreach and build a robust pipeline within designated territories across local and state governments. You will learn OpenGov’s cloud-based platform and its impact on urban and public sector operations while receiving hands-on training and mentorship.

You will collaborate with Account Executives to qualify opportunities, demonstrate OpenGov’s value, and move opportunities through the funnel.

• Genuinely curious about technology and government.
• Excited by AI and its impact on government; speak credibly about AI in public sector.

Responsibilities

• Build and own your pipeline through outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
• Become the expert on OpenGov's cloud-based platform to explain its value to government buyers.
• Partner with Account Executives to qualify opportunities that lead to demos and conversions.
• Use Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn to manage daily activity and keep your pipeline healthy.
• Communicate OpenGov's value clearly to government decision-makers and build credibility.
