Job summary

ServiceNow is seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel, Public Sector to support SaaS agreements and government contracting for Federal, State, and Local customers. The role reports to the US Public Sector lead counsel and offers flexibility on location with preference for DC/MD/VA area.

You will negotiate and draft agreements, collaborate across departments, and help evolve standard forms and processes while serving as a trusted advisor to internal clients.

Qualifications

• Active membership in at least one U.S. State bar.
• 5+ years’ experience practicing government contracts at federal/state levels.
• Experience with FAR and DFARS.
• Negotiating government contracts with customers and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of GSA Schedule and NASPO ValuePoint.

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate master SaaS licensing and professional services agreements.
• Advise on channel partner issues and respond to RFs and contracting documents.
• Collaborate with finance, sales ops, deal desk, product ops, and security.
• Improve standard forms of agreement and legal processes.
• Serve as trusted business partner and respond to internal requests promptly.
• Counsel and train internal customers on policies and risk tolerance.
