Job summary

UKG is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to support U.S. Public Sector sales, leading drafting and negotiation of complex government agreements while guiding cross-functional teams on procurement and contracting issues.

You will collaborate with Sales, Services, Legal, and Compliance to address FedRAMP/State programs and drive practical legal process improvements. The role requires JD and active bar status with 7+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Active license with a U.S. State bar.
• At least 7 years of relevant legal experience in U.S. Public Sector sales, procurement, or commercial transactions.
• Strong drafting and negotiation capabilities with complex matters.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead drafting and negotiation of complex Public Sector customer agreements and partner arrangements.
• Advise on RFPs, procurement options, and contract management.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Security, Engineering on regulatory requirements and process improvements.
• Lead moderately complex legal projects and drive process improvements with limited supervision.
• Provide practical legal guidance and mentor colleagues.
