Job summary

Promise’s government and utility business is growing, and this role owns contracting and compliance work end to end—reviewing, drafting, and negotiating solicitations, bids, and customer agreements across federal, state, and local procurements.

You'll partner with security on FedRAMP, data protection terms, and regulatory reviews, turning complex public-sector requirements into terms Promise can sign and deliver. Strong ownership and growth opportunities await.

Qualifications

• JD and active membership in a U.S. state bar.
• 5+ years in government contracts, federal or state/local.
• Experience reviewing solicitations, bids, and customer agreements.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP and data privacy.

Responsibilities

• Own contracting for public sector and commercial deals across federal, state, local procurements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate solicitations, contracts, and customer agreements.
• Lead security reviews and ensure data protection terms in agreements.
• Advise on bid requirements, certifications, and representations for compliance.
