Job summary

Kyndryl seeks a seasoned Consult Partner to lead transformative engagements for state and local government accounts. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, shape strategic change, and build strong CXO-level relationships to deliver AI and infrastructure-enabled outcomes.

You will drive public sector modernization, hybrid cloud journeys, and enterprise IT transformations while fostering talent development within the Kyndryl Consult team across Oregon and beyond.

Qualifications

• Experience in consultative sales or advisory roles for IT services, cloud migration, and digital transformation in state/local government.
• Record of pursuing and closing business opportunities across state/local governments.
• Experience navigating public sector procurement regulations, RFPs/RFIs, and cooperative purchasing vehicles.
• Led and delivered complex projects with multidisciplinary teams across IT, finance, legal, and leadership.
• Experience driving revenue growth, negotiating fees, and managing margins.
• Familiarity with public sector compliance frameworks (StateRAMP, FedRAMP, CJIS, HIPAA, FERPA).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with government solicitation responses and executive presentations.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients and lead advisory discussions with state agencies and procurement officials, driving digital transformation.
• Pursue and win a robust pipeline of SLED opportunities, respond to government solicitations, and align with security and accessibility mandates.
• Design and oversee delivery of complex engagements spanning hybrid cloud, AI adoption, and enterprise IT transformations.
• Achieve profitability through scope definition, fee negotiation, and risk mitigation on engagements.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary consulting teams, fostering growth and talent development.
