Job summary

AWS is seeking a Solutions Architect to accelerate State and Local Government adoption of cloud, data and AI services. You’ll own technical engagements, craft architectures, respond to RFPs and guide customers and partners in security and deployment on AWS.

Travel up to 30% is required. Location options in Texas (Dallas or Austin); strong presentation, leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT development or consulting in software or Internet industries.
• 4+ years in software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
• 2+ years design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Own technical engagement and project success with customers.
• Define implementation architectures and respond to RFPs.
• Develop deep AWS technical expertise and security know-how.
• Share best practices within the AWS solution-architect community.
