Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Solutions Architect for the WWPS State and Local Government & Higher Education team in New York. You will own technical engagements, define architectures, respond to RFPs, and work with ecosystem partners.

You will lead design discussions, share best practices with the solution-architect community, and help customers adopt AWS services including Bedrock and Quick. Travel up to 30% as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years in software, cloud computing, systems engineering, or security.
• 5+ years in IT development or implementation/consulting in software or internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional technical design and leadership to customers in AWS projects.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solution architect community.
• Educate customers on AWS value and engage in deep architectural discussions to ensure cloud success.
• Lead efforts to build and migrate applications, software and services on the AWS platform.
