Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Customer Solutions Manager to guide government and higher education customers through multi-year cloud adoption, migration, modernization, and AI transformation initiatives, aligning their missions with measurable outcomes using modern cloud solutions.

As part of the WWPS EDU / SLG Western Region, you will lead cross-functional teams, craft adoption roadmaps, and enable responsible AI, data readiness, and scalable agentic AI programs that deliver lasting impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading large-scale technical or engineering programs with measurable outcomes.
• Experience in enterprise IT, vendor or consultant roles with technical program management.
• Experience in customer-facing roles and building business cases.

Responsibilities

• Own & Influence: Lead customer engagements end-to-end across multiple AWS teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Drive Adoption: Develop cloud adoption roadmaps aligned with customer milestones and translate initiatives into actions.
• Accelerate Value: Identify opportunities for migrations, data analytics, and AI modernization to advance missions.
• Enable & Govern: Design education programs and governance frameworks for responsible AI and cloud transformation.
• Advocate & Coach: Serve as the customer's cloud coach and communicate needs to AWS leadership and engineers.
• Collaborate & Coordinate: Connect account managers, solutions architects, technical account managers, and professional services.
• Build & Scale: Develop scalable mechanisms and AI-powered automation to accelerate adoption across public sector customers.
