Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Customer Solutions Manager (CSM) to join the EDU & SLG Western Region, guiding government and higher education customers through multi-year cloud adoption, migration, modernization, and AI transformation initiatives. You will work backwards from customer goals to deliver measurable outcomes through modern cloud solutions.

As a CSM in WWPS EDU/SLG, you will partner with AWS teams to drive agentic AI deployments, data platform modernization, and intelligent

Qualifications

5+ years leading large-scale technical or engineering programs.
5+ years in enterprise IT, vendor, or consulting roles.
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or related field.
Experience in customer-facing roles.
Experience coordinating across multiple teams and disciplines.

Responsibilities

Own and influence customer engagements end-to-end across Sales, Support, Solutions Architecture, Professional Services, and customer teams.
Develop and execute cloud adoption roadmaps aligned with customer milestones.
Identify opportunities for large-scale migrations, data & analytics, generative AI, and modernization.
Design education programs, AI readiness assessments, governance frameworks, and executive briefings.
Advocate as the customer's cloud coach and communicate needs to AWS leadership, product, and engineering teams.
Coordinate between account managers, solutions architects, and professional services to ensure cohesive execution.
Develop scalable mechanisms and AI-powered automation strategies to accelerate adoption.
