Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a dynamic technical trainer to deliver hands-on and virtual training on mobile video technologies for public safety customers. You will tailor the customer education experience from end users to technicians and administrators, using product hardware, software and documentation.

The role requires 3+ years in technical training, strong communication and cross-functional collaboration, and travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical training experience with a focus in public safety systems.
• Ability to enable cross functional teams to meet or exceed business objectives.
• Exhibit strong communication, interpersonal, project management, and time management.
• Proven experience driving significant improvements with a team and business.
• Self-starter with ambiguity, rapid change and growth.
• Understand End to End solutions to students in varying job functions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom technical training on mobile video technologies to external customers and occasionally internal employees.
• Deliver virtual instructor-led training on mobile video technologies to external customers and occasionally internal employees.
• Training at customer locations and occasionally virtual.
• Travel up to 75% domestically and internationally to meet business needs.
• Teach agency customers/end users on the use and operating methods of complex software products.
• Present training using PowerPoint, lectures, and other methods.
• Compile training and technical documents and course material.
• Measure knowledge transfer and training effectiveness.
• Monitor customer satisfaction through surveys and feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups to create training programs.
• Update curricula to reflect product changes and market demands.
• Demonstrate training effectiveness through evaluation.
