Job summary

Motorola Solutions in the United States is seeking an experienced technical trainer to deliver hands-on classroom instruction for mobile video technologies and to support end-user and technician education within Worldwide Education. The role emphasizes tailoring sessions to varying student levels, from end users to system administrators in public safety environments, with in-person and virtual delivery.

Expect up to 75% travel, and ongoing curriculum updates and training effectiveness

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical training experience with a focus in public safety services.
• Ability to enable cross functional teams to meet objectives and foster strong working relationships.
• Exhibit strong communication, interpersonal, project management, and time management skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to perform in times of ambiguity and rapid growth.
• Understand and explain End to End solutions to students in varying roles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom technical training on mobile video technologies to external customers and sometimes internal staff.
• Deliver virtual instructor-led training on mobile video technologies to external customers and sometimes internal staff.
• Train at customer locations and occasionally facilitate virtually.
• Travel up to 75% to meet business needs; typically Monday-Friday, three weeks out of the month.
• Teach and instruct customers on use and operation of complex software products and services.
• Present training using varied methods and compile course material for products or services.
• Measure knowledge transfer and training effectiveness and monitor customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups to support MSI Worldwide Education strategies.
• Update curricula to reflect product changes and market demands.
