Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to lead full lifecycle delivery of public safety deployment programs in the Southeast/U.S. The role requires strong PM capabilities, customer focus, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Candidates should have 3+ years of project management experience (or a degree) and be comfortable with 25–50% travel; CMA/CJIS certifications are valued; a PMP/CAPM is strongly desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years managing external customers-facing deployment programs or software deployments.
• PMP and/or CAPM highly desired.
• Experience with Public Safety communications systems is a plus.
• Proficient with project scheduling tools (MS Project/Smartsheets).
• Focus on customer outcomes and long-term success.

Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle from Initiation through Closing following PMBOK standards.
• Develop and maintain a Master Project Plan and integrated change control.
• Own successful implementation, cutover, and hand-off to Support for NG911 projects.
• Lead detailed schedules and monitor milestones against baseline.
• Maintain budgets and monitor revenue, margin, and cash flow.
• Identify risks, maintain Risk Register, and implement mitigation plans.
• Serve as primary POC for customers and cross-functional teams.
