Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to lead end-to-end deployment programs in the Southeast U.S. You will manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and quality, coordinating with customers and internal teams. The role requires 3+ years of PM experience or 5+ years total, with CJIS security requirements and potential travel about 50%.

The position offers base compensation in the $110,000–$120,000 range, depending on experience, with a benefits package and hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of project management experience with external customers.
• PMP and/or CAPM strongly desired.
• Public Safety communications experience is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, or similar tools.
• Customer-focused mindset with long-term success emphasis.
• Strong financial acumen; ability to manage costs and revenue implications.
• Experience with risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Self-motivated team player with collaboration across regions.

Responsibilities

• Follow PMBOK standards to manage full project lifecycle from initiation to closing.
• Develop and implement Master Project Plan and integrated change control.
• Maintain high-level understanding of workflows to meet objectives.
• Own successful implementation, cutover, and hand-off to Support.
• Lead scheduling reviews and track progress against baselines.
• Ensure milestones are met and manage legacy-to-NG911 transition.
• Monitor budgets, revenue recognition, margins, and cash flow.
• Identify risks, maintain Risk Register, and escalate issues.
• Serve as primary POC for customers and cross-functional teams.
• Lead project kick-offs, status meetings, and steering reviews.
