Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to lead mission-critical communication system projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and customer satisfaction. The role requires remote work from Washington state with travel to customer sites as needed, and a strong background in project management methodologies.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years PM experience (or 6+ years in related fields), strong communication skills, and familiarity with public safety, IT networks, or defense-related

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of project management experience or 6+ years of experience in project management, engineering, or a similar field.
• Experience forecasting and driving revenue through project management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma and other project management methodologies.
• Experience with at least one of the following: Public Safety communications systems, cellular infrastructure, civil construction, Military communications, IT Networks
• PMP and/or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
• PM Masters Certificate a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver new or upgraded products/services from inception to completion.
• Develop and manage project plans, deliverables, budgets, and timelines.
• Communicate status to customer and internal stakeholders; manage expectations and relationships.
• Drive process improvements and apply PM best practices to maximize efficiency.
• Travel to customer locations for on-site upgrades and maintain awareness of security requirements.
