Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• Two or more years supporting computers/servers in a multi-network environment.
• Experience with Police RMS, mobile technology, body-worn camera systems, SQL databases preferred.
• Certification in LAN administration or network security is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advises staff on hardware, software, and networking solutions.
• Plans and installs police network infrastructure; connects to centralized routers.
• Provides help desk support and after-hours response as needed.
• Maintains security and backups per CJIS requirements.
• Coordinates repairs with outside vendors and manages warranties.
• Trains users on new applications and hardware.
