The role requires a degree in Information Technology or related field with 3+ years of IT experience, strong system administration, security practices, and CJIS compliance, and the ability to manage multiple systems while communicating

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology or a closely related field with 3+ years IT experience.
OR Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related field with 5+ years IT experience.
OR High School Diploma with 5–7 years IT experience.

Responsibilities

Provide city-wide staff technology support focusing on public safety departments via remote and on-site assistance.
Design and implement technology solutions, establish requirements, plan timelines, and allocate resources.
Provide Tier 2/3 support by engaging vendors to enhance and modify existing technologies.
Maintain application security and ensure compliance with federal/state guidelines and strategic plans.
Perform admin tasks for systems and tools including Microsoft 365, Teams, and SCM/MDM.
Work with public safety devices and City-issued mobile devices in alignment with MDM standards.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
