Job summary

Tyler Technologies in Arlington, Virginia is seeking an Account Executive to drive revenue selling enterprise SAAS solutions to Fire and EMS public safety agencies, building relationships within an assigned territory and expanding market share.

You will manage long sales cycles, travel 60% across the territory, and work with CRM to forecast activity. Strong experience in public sector software sales and a competitive, results-oriented mindset are required.

Qualifications

• Experience selling enterprise software to Public Sector agencies preferred.
• Experience selling Public Safety software (Fire & EMS Records Management) preferred.
• Ability to travel 60% within the region consistently.
• Competitive, results-oriented mindset.
• Able to establish and maintain strong client relationships and forecast using a CRM.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of Tyler's public safety products to target audiences.
• Build relationships with prospective clients to sell products and services.
• Generate sales within the territory for Fire & EMS products.
• Manage long and complex sales cycles from lead to close.
• Maintain forecasts and activity reports in CRM.
• Travel to customer sites and trade shows as needed (about 60%).
• Support RFP responses and meet annual sales quotas.
